Weddingbee boards

After 1.5 months of increasingly dismayed searching, 10 stores total (some multiple visits), ordering a dress and cancelling it the next day, considering a $5K dress, considering having one custom made, and ranting frantically on here...I took my neighbor's advice and tried on things that were different from the vision in my head. And I found a dress I'm excited about! Did I cry when I put in on? No - but I did squeek like a little girl when I saw the photos we snuck. Does it have everything I dreamed of - No (no lace *sigh*). Does it make me happy picturing myself in the dress? Yes. But being one who can never make up her mind, I know I will be second guessing myself before the day is over. My biggest problem is, my dear mom whose opinion I trust  100% lives 7000 miles away and hasn't made peace with modern technology so I can't even email her photos. Sooo, I turn to the hive for opinions please :)

prettylady- It's a Lazaro. I'm looking at the website but I can't find the exact model. It's similar to the 3804, but I don't think it's exactly the same. Also I checked the prices for 3804 on used sites and this one was definitely less expensive than what I see there as the 'original price'.

(If I had listened to the store and not taken a photo I think I would've passed on it because I walked out of there unsure...Stupid store policies!)

It's great! Isn't it amazing that the dress isn't what you had envisioned? Same thing happened with me! In fact, the style I THOUGHT I wanted was soooo not right for me.

I would demand my mom get an email account though!

Here's my update: I did purchase the dress today and I am so HAPPY!!! The designer - Lazaro - himself was there for a trunk show so I got to meet him. He was so nice, he actually suggested custom changes for the dress to fit me better at no charge, posed for photos with me in my dress and gave me an autographed sketch of the dress that he drew right there and then. It was a wonderful if a bit overwhelming experience. I think today for the first time standing in front of that mirror I felt like a bride :)

The store was supposed to email me the photos but apparantly didn't, I'll post them here as soon as I get them!
