We are! My color schem is black and purple though. Their flowers are going to be all different shades of purple and even some fushia!
The dresses kind of look like these and some pics of what the bouquets will sort of look like.

Eggplant is only the best color you could have chosen ;) I will post a couple pics when I get home from work.
I know it's a lot of purple but I think with the fuschia it will really pop.

It seemed like the consensus was white, although I think purple can be really nice if you're careful with the shades (you don't want them blending into the dress!).
Picasso Cala Lillies are a good way to go. I had purple bridesmaids dresses and that is what we used... along with white roses. The picasso lillies are white on the outside but a deep purple on the inside... really beautiful. I"ll try to get you a pic shortly.

Im doing eggplant/aubergine and golden yellow with hints of green to make it look less Laker-ish.

green, ivory and maybe pale pink...my bouquet will have plum colored flowers, with ivory, golds, and sage too
@Jennychicago- I am using the Enzoani Love dresses in eggplant also! So excited!!!
With my BM's eggplant dresses I am doing boquests with shades of green, white, and darker purples.

A friend of mine did something similar for her wedding and it was beautiful!
What about some orange in there.. I'm having the same colour dresses and I've chosen orange as one of my accent colours. Take a look at this pic!
@brazier_3: I agree with you! When I saw this topic, the first thing i thought of was orange. :)
I love the picasso calla's but my concern is if I end up in the Justin, the "white" of the calla won't really work with my dress.
My girls are carrying bright pink gerber daisies with their eggplant dresses. I am doing a mixture of purple and pink.
@KLP- that is perhaps the most amazing gown of all time! I love love love love love that dress.
As for flowers, I love the pop of greens and yellows with eggplant. And light pinks. I think contrast is a great design element.
@brazier_3: My mom would LOVE you for that suggestion. But I didn't want a Halloween wedding and it was the date we got stuck with.. so I'm determined to have NO orange :-)
I am an eggplant bride also (or at least my BMs are). Their flowers are purple hydrangea, dark purple calla lily, flame calla lily (red/org), confetti rose (orange w/red tips), red hypercium berries. I wanted fall colors with some purple. My bouquet are the same types of flowers/berries but all in white.
I had a purple bouquet, so my girls had white ones (all babysbreath) but there are obviously a million other options for white bouquets. :)
i have eggplant bm's and i am thinking burgandy-red and light and deep purple mix. i am also doing a fall wedding.
My girls had yellow gerbera daisy bouquets. I loved how the color pops next to their dresses. :)

@ georgiabee: do u have a pick of that! it sounds amazing...im meeting with my florist in three weeks and def need some inspration! i think it sounds beautiful!
My bms are wearing Grape colored (close to eggplant, but a little brighter purple) dresses with berry sashes - their flowers will have lots of white stock and hydrangea, and a little dark purple stock, and hot pink roses. My bouquet will have a little white and a lot more of the purple/pink. I can't wait!
My BM's are wearing the Bill Levkoff eggplant dresses and they are carrying all green flowers.
Yellow looks nice next to purple or eggplant.

LOVE the yellow with the purple!! I would definitely stick to a lighter color (pink, yellow, white, cream, light orange) to make it stand out against the darker dress.
I love eggplant. If I didn't love blue so much, my girls would probably be in it haha!
My girls are wearing eggplant dresses too. Absolutely love that color!! They are going to carry a mixture of pink (soft pink, bright pink, fuschia) and purple flowers. We're including orchids in the bouquets. Here are some of my inspiration photos. :)

I just saw a florist last weekend, and my bm dresses are dark purple too :) We're doing white peonies, hot pink peonies, white hydrangeas, and purple lilies. Pink isn't really one of our colors, but I think it'll look awesome.
@OttawaBride2011: We have a lot in common - date twins, eggplant color twins. LOL! ;) I love peonies... your bouquets will look awesome!

I think the first and the fourth pictures would suit your wedding best, but a lot of them are really great ideas. I love the look of lime-green, hot pink and purple. For example, hot pink gerberas, green mums, and plum calla lilies. I think the calla lilies would tie everything in nicely, while the mums and the gerberas will make a look that pop. Kind of like what' below, but with purple callas.

I think yellows and oranges would looke great with the dresses and still fit into that fall feel.
So many colors go with eggplant: cream, yellow, orange, white, pink, light blue...I think you're free to go with anything you like! I love eggplant for bridesmaids!

My colors are dark purple (ideally eggplant shade) with cream/ivory and accent of lavender.
For my BM's dress - it's a dark purple color (similar to eggplant) and I want them to carry white/off white color tulips! :)
(I think it'll constrast beautifully against the dark shade of the dress!)

we did a wedding this fall and we had mixture of purple, burgundy and hot pink with a touch of 2 tone pink/coral rose.
I really liked this mix.

So, from the start we've set out to do Purple/Blue. It's a mid fall wedding so deep jewel toned colors, etc. After finally selecting the bridesmaid dresses, we choose Eggplant.
Um, my flower scheme is making my brain implode. Is anyone else having eggplant dresses? What colors are your flowers?
