- Wedding: December 2017
I’ve been stuck on centerpieces for months now not knowing what to do.
We dont have a certain theme to our wedding. The ceremony is at a cathedral, and our reception in a very beautiful old, almost victorian style room with very high ceilings and elaborate moldings.
We recently had our engagement photos in Paris, because I was doing an internship in Switzerland over the summer. I just sent out our save the dates which feature a picture of us with the Eiffel tower in the background.
Since then, I have found this very cute eiffel tower decor statues, and have been debating whether these would make good centerpieces. They have spots to place tea candles, and have been envisioning flowers entwined through the statue and tea candles in or around them.
I’m holding back though because I’m not sure whether it would be appropriate to have this Eiffel tower/Parisian theme at our wedding, only because I dont want to appear to be too pretentious. Yes we have our engagment pictures there, but would it be okay to go out and have your reception decor in a Paris theme?
Maybe I’m just being too crazy.
Any thoughts or help?
