He's in Tecumseh, MI, which is in the southeastern part of the state, but I know he'd be willing to travel. His prices are reasonable, too.
He was my fiance's friend growing up. He shot both of my FBIL's weddings and they turned out fantastic. We'd have hired him, but we went with someone local here in Philly.
You could give Bella Pictures a call. They have several photographers working with them, and they guarantee that if your photographer has an emergency and can't make it, they'll send a replacement. I live in southern Wisconsin, and I met with one of their representatives, who was extremely friendly and helpful. I would have booked with them had they fit into my budget. Typical wedding packages are around $2-3K.
I've only heard of Kevin Weinstein. He's actually one of the most popular photogs Chicagoland. I looked into hiring him, but ended up going with someone else. KW did my best friend's wedding and they LOVED their pictures, her husband is also an art director so he was extremely critical of the pictures - which they both were happy with!

yeah. Kevin Weinstein is amazing. he was booked for my date, or i would definitely have considered him. i don't know any of the others.
Don't use Bella. They are known to treat their clients AND photographers very poorly. It's a very bad set up and leads to a lot of quality of image disappointment.
Eek! Sorry about the bad Bella advice. Their representative was sweet at least. 
Kevin, Dawn and Maggie are all great! I would recommend each of them 100%. I am not familiar with the other photographer you listed.

Chicago and Southwestern Michigan ladies help a fellow bee out!
Our wedding is August 7th and we still haven't finalized a photographer for our wedding weekend. 1 problem is that we live in Washington, DC so planning a wedding in Southwest Michigan has been a little tricky! I'm looking for Chicago or West coast Michigan photographer who are still available that weekend... which I know is tough at this late time!
I have been able to talk to lots of photographers and I would just love to know if any of you Michigan/Chicago area brides have had any experience with the following photographers & could give me any feedback about experiences you've had with them!
Or if you have any other suggestions, I'd love them! Thanks ladies for your help!
