You can add some greenery inside the vase at the bottom. Or a ribbon…I think it does need something though…

If you are doing knots as part of your theme, what if you used a rope instead of ribbon and tied a knot at the end?

I do think it might be a little plain by itself… Can you sprinkle some other votives around it? Or put some neutral colored rocks underneath the candle to give it a little more texture?

Or what if you put it on a pedestal of some kind?

You could make celtic knot coasters as a base for the vase

You could make large versions of a turk’s head knot and place them on the table right beside the vase- maybe a cluster of 3 of varying sizes.

If I wrapped anything around the vase, it would be rope rather than ribbon or burlap.
