(Closed) Elevated TSH – anyone had this early on?

@travelgirl1:  I’ve seen TSH’s as high as 400 and people are asymptomatic. People can live with elevated TSH’s and not know it at all, others are very sensitive to it. I haven’t heard of thyroid issues causing miscarriages but I know it can affect fertility, but of the hundred of patients I’ve seen (not a doctor bee, just work in a health clinic, so this is purely based off of observation, not medical fact or anything) thyroid is easily controlled with medication. Try not to worry yourself! It’s very hard to stay positive, I know what you mean. =)

@travelgirl1:  Yeah it usually takes 6-8 weeks for accurate retesting. Crossing my fingers for you that it comes down =) Feel better!! =)
