In searching for home renovation pictures, I came across a TMZ link to Tiger's ex's newly bought home. I know a few Bees are tackling renovations right now and thought it'd be fun to post these for comparison. Paying $2 million for a house and it's a fixer-upper?! It made me feel better Laughing

These up close pics looks like a disaster has struck:

But these taken from afar look oh-so-lovely:

I think she's being smart and humble considering how much she could have spent.  Hopefully she's saving it for the kids and their future.

Dang, 59 acres? Yeah, 2M makes sense! the house is a craphole, but there is a lake, too. I'm sure the totaly renovation cost+the 2M isn't that big of a deal considering the homes hollywood stars live in around here. Goodness knows 2M is probably pocket change for them and she'll be able to build a BEAUTIFUL home that is hopefully worth at the very least what she puts into it.

I read that the neigbors were concerned about her completely renovating the home, changing the exterior into something more "grand", but according the real estate agent, she promised to keep it as is.

“They do not plan to build new houses or to change the main building very much,” she said. “No, instead they will restore the house to its original style and keep the island the way it has always been. That is wonderful because that is exactly the kind of neighbors we appreciate.”
