so my fiancé and I were planning on eloping and then changed it to a small wedding and now we’re debating on eloping again. If we do elope, we want to do it in Colorado. There you do not need witnesses or an officiater. If we didn’t do an officiater, what are some creative things to do for our private ceremony? Just do vows? Any other ideas? Any other things we should? Should we have a cake? A private meal just the two of us? Obviously we will have a photographer. Thanks in advance.

Colorado is a beautiful place and a great place to elope. I also looked into the same place/idea to elope; however, I would still have an officiant to make it ” feel” real. If you know what I mean. Still exchange your vows as that’s personal and deep. Of course have your photographer , arrange a nice dinner either on site or a fancy restaurant, don’t forget a small cake. Make it feel like a small wedding but just with you 2, so you still have those memories and get to enjoy a little planning and cake testing. Its deserved
