Only thing we need to do is book a place to stay that night. Afterward, we are driving down for our annual hill country weekend with friends.
Oh! And jewelry! My neighbor decided to glitz up my strapless white sundress by adding pearls and sparkly clusters to the enbroidered flowers that are on it. She’s sweet! But not sure if I should wear pearl jewelry, sparkly jewelry or a statement piece. What do you think?

Wow, that all sounds amazing and fun! If you can post pics I’ll be glad to help you choose. It’s possible that any of those jewelry pieces you mentioned will look really cool with a sundress and cowboy boots. 🙂 (Learning towards statement piece without pics, though).

Just saw the cowboy boots in the splurge thread- love! Everything sounds great. I think with a sundress, I’d do minimal jewelry. Pearls seem like the best out of what you listed.

Here’s the dress pictured from the website (I’ll have to take a picture of the glitz my neighbor added when I get home from work). It’s difficult to tell on here, but on the bodice and on the hem are two white embroidered flowers. That’s where she clustered the glitzy beads. And the dress is much more full and flowy on than on this 12 year old 80 lb. model (ha).

Oh pretty! I think you will look great and I agree with the suggestion for minimal jewelry.

I loved reading this! There is something special and romantic about elopements. Love the dress too! I’d probably wear minimal jewellery as well.

Simple earrrings should do the trick! Can’t wait for a recap!
