Hello -
Im looking to elope in Paris, a symbolic wedding only, all paperwork done in the states first. Ideally, I'd love to be married outside in the Tuileries, just my husband to be and myself meaning no one else in attendence :).
However we read on one site that France requires religious ceremonies to take place in a chapel, but on wedding planner sites under general information we see outdoor options. (we're not looking to use a planning service since it's just the two of us). Does anyone know what is the real deal with marrying outside? Are there any loopholes, for instance if the ceremony is secular, etc?
If so, where would I go about finding someone to do that?
thank you!
