my original wedding was in vegas (with plans to have a big, fancy wedding a year later), and I have to say that I regret my dress. I wanted something fun and on a budget, so I chose a coctail dress that was black and silver. I really wish I went with something that at least slightly resembled a bridal look (even if a “fun” one), so it would be clear that I was a bride walking around in the casinos!

just something to consider πŸ™‚

but yeah, with vegas weddings, anything goes! you could wear a fun, short white dress and add a veil if you wanted it to be more bridal. or you could wear a cowgirl costume and it would be ok. I’ve also seen some brides who went all out with the expensive floor length dress and everything.

EDIT: but to answer your question— on a budget, I suggest trying on bridesmaids dresses and then ordering one in white. you’ll get a gorgeous dress and save a lot of money that way!

Wear whatever you want! Fiance and I decided to nix our August wedding and are eloping on May 3 instead, but obviously my dress was already purchased and everything, so I’m just going to go ahead and wear my gown and everything I was going to wear at our big wedding. He’s also wearing his tux.

Just because you are eloping doesn’t mean you can’t wear an amazing dress! It’s still your day! Wear what you want. πŸ™‚

And as a head’s up, I haven’t heard too much about Milanoo. I know they’re a replica site, but if you want to go that route I would aim for DressilyMe or Jasmine’sBridalShop.
