- Wedding: August 2013
We are having a secret elopement with plans of having a big “wedding” on our 10th anniversary in a couple years. We want to be married now and would love to have all friends and family present. But we wouldn’t be able to afford a big wedding right now.
I love this idea because its just us and we can focus on each other.
We decided this last week and the date is set 8/31/2013.
In planning this, I’m having trouble figuring out what elements of a regular wedding to keep.
We have a photographer bec the general consensus is to have good pics and I realized I really wanted that. We have them for 2 hours… But what will they take pics of? Ceremony is only 10-15 mins and there are no guests. Should we do pics of getting ready? Us eating?? Lol What else?
Also, would it even be worth it to get hair and make up done?
Part of me wants the photo session, hair, makeup, car service, etc…. I mean it is my WEDDING day. But then part of me thinks of the budget and the fact that I wanted this to feel like an adventurous impromptu wedding.
Well I guess my question is, should I bother with Hair & Make up? Will it really make much difference in the photos?
