Not for wedding invites, but for cards, etc. I've done embossing before with a an embossing pen. It turned out really cool. I was able to order the pens on Amazon. I like to write the person's name in embossing to add a fun personalized touch.
My biggest issue is that naturally my handwriting isn't very nice, so I have to take my time to ensure I take my time and it looks nice.
Edit: I used clear ink and colored powder.
Thanks for the reply.
I did a trial to see if using clear ink and clear powder would work on already printed invites. For one, i think the paper is too pourous, so it was drying too quickly, but also it didnt show too well. But this is how the store said to do it?
oh well i guess.
Any other uses for the hot blow gun?
@SumitaM: Did you use embossing or a pigment ink? They are made to dry a lot slower. Normal ink will dry before you are done.

has anyone embossed, but using the free hand pen, and not a rubber stamp?
Im thinking of embossing on top of my already printed invitations with clear powder. Thoughts?
