I got a heat embossing gun and some powder and ink to go with a custom made rubber stamp I ordered to put on our invitations, programs, etc.
I LOVE THIS!
I need to get a bigger stamp and perfect my technique, but I am so super excited about putting this everywhere. 🙂

Love it! We are not doing any embossing on any of our stationary, but I did over 200 invitations, 200 seating cards and 100 programs for my MOH’s wedding – and I loved it!!!! The finished product looks so unique and polished.

I want to DIY embossing my programs and candy bags sooo bad! I think it looks so great for DIY. Did you use a stamp pad and then embossing powder? What was your technique? I accidentally picked up flocking powder on my first try at AC Moore, and apparently I need a glue pad for that. I went back but didn’t find an embossing powder color I’m happy with yet, so I haven’t actually been able to try my embossing. I want to know how it goes and what tricks you’ve found!
On a side note, did I see a program template you’ve posted before (It was a flip-book type that used only like one 8 1/2 X 11 page— super cost effective!)? I remembered your name on it and wanted to go back to look at it, but I can’t find it now. Any ideas where I can look?? Thanks so much!

@soon2bemrsA: I can definitely send you the template if you like – to check it out again just look at my profile and then my DIY posts.
I used a regular rubber stamp, embossing ink and embossing powder from eBay. And a heat gun. It was sooooo easy!
