Hi Bees! So I'm just curious. Do any of your have any recommendations or preferences for brands of embossing powders for your stamping/embossing projects? I've been using Stamp n Stuff embossing powder from Stampendous, but I'm finding that the powder won't stick to smaller details and I'm just not super pleased with some of the results in general that I've been getting on my latest embossing projects (I've been making a variety of cards lately). Are there other brands of embossing powders out there that you get great results from? I'd love your input!

I use whatever Jo-Anns sells (or my local scrapbook store). It could be the ink that you are using too. GL

I would look for a powder that says  something like "detaiil", "ultra fine", or "fine lines".  You will get much better results with small details with a finer powder.  I got mine at Michaels, but I don't remember the brand.  Good luck!

I use the Detail Embossing Powder from PaperSource and it worked really well on all of my projects.

    Here's the link: http://www.paper-source.com/cgi-bin/paper/item/Detail-Clear-Embossing-Powder/2902.011/860661.html

Hope this helps! =) Good luck.

thanks girls! I know my ink isn't the problem. I'm pretty sure it's just that the powder isn't fine enough. I'll keep my eyes out for the "detail" kinds. I love paper source too so i'll have to check them out as well!
