I apologize in advance but just need to get this out to someone.
Two weeks ago we had some bad storms and had a tree come down on the house. Thankfully no structural damage and we all remained safe, but financially and mess wise it has been a strain.
This past Saturday while shopping for centerpiece flowers my daughter asked me what was wrong with my neck. I was like what are you talking about. Turns out I have about a 3 inch lump just above my collar bone. Went to the Dr today. CT scan will be scheduled for next week.
Tonight my FI told me that his friend of 20 years who is also our photographer will not be able to make it to the wedding to take pictures.
Our wedding is in 2 1/2 weeks. This is just too much stress for me right now.
I am trying to remain calm and keep it in perspective. But my mind is now running wild about this CT scan next week and having no photographer with 2 1/2 weeks until the big day.

@lifesaride: That sounds really stressful! Hang in there and hold on tight to friends and family for support. Sometimes life happens. It can be really scary and difficult, and sometimes all you can do is hold on, but just keep telling yourself you can do it, you are still going to get married no matter what happens. It is okay to be overwhelmed, in fact it’s normal to be overwhelmed by these events. The thing is, you can hold on, and you can get through it, no matter what it is and how hard it is. And in the end, after the journey, you realize all the more how much stronger you are for it. I wish so much good luck and strength to you in these next few weeks!

I wish I had advice but all I can say is to breathe. Sometimes when things go wrong it feels like everything goes wrong at once. Just think about when everything stops being stupid and you get to marry the man of your dreams.
I feel like the most concerning thing at this moment is the CT scan, and having to worry about something and not exactly knowing what it is is the worst feeling in the world.
Sending lots of love and prayers your way my girl!
