@classical_wolf:  hah!  What a B!  Is she married?  I would have gone to my desk, gotten a piece of tape, and plopped it on her mouth… In my head, of course.  You handled it well.

Oh dear! My standard answer has always been “If he leaves me because of my weight, then I can do better”

@classical_wolf:  *snort* yeah. ok. I guess we know why her marriage ended (ok that was snarky but I can’t say I’m sorry about it.)

And I love love love love Crumbs!!! Good for you for resisting! I wouldn’t have had the willpower!

@classical_wolf:  Eww to the men she’s been with I suppose.  If I was marrying such a phenomenal asswipe you’d best believe I’d be stress-eating my heart out.

Just to post a different point of view, Many people try and diet to become much skinner than they were when the relationship began. I have had many people ask about diets etc etc.. and MY answer is always, yeah I am trying to slim down a bit but he loves me like this and he can marry me like this..

Honestly girl, seemed harmless to me.

@classical_wolf:  Are you sure she wasn’t telling you not to worry so much about losing weight for the wedding?  She may not know you were thinner when you met your fiancé, so she may have actually been telling you that there is no need to lose weight when he likes you the way you are.  I doubt she meant to offend you.

@FLBlonde93:  this is how I read it, but it’s hard to tell without hearing the way she said it etc I guess.
