For my second wedding I wanted to elope but since it was my husband’s first we had a small ceremony and reception for under 50 guests on the beach.  We had 3 attendants each.  I wore a beachy white gown and he wore a white linen suit.

Second marriage for both of us, too. We have 5 teenagers combined. Both had huge first weddings, so we are doing a small, intimate 50 people ceremony and reception at a nearby vineyard. We are going to walk together down the aisle. No poofy dress this time.

The dress (but with no train):

private ceremony and small reception. Family and very close friends only. Here’s my dress but in blush….I’ve got way more curves so it’ll be filled out a bit more.

Mrs.Sawyertobe:   Encore, older bride here.    We’re having a small (about 50 guest) wedding at a very pretty venue (outdoor ceremony if it pleases the weather gods) and reception at the same place.  It will be a brunch reception, and the food is beyond incredible.    Just a Best Woman and Best Man for the bridal party, and my mom will be walking me down the aisle.  When I was married before I didn’t have a wedding dress, just an off the rack white dress, so this time I am wearing this lovely Martina Liana number.

Your dress is gorgeous!! And VERY Audrey Hepburn!!!

I’m so behind.  This is a second marriage for both of us.  My DS is 22 and FIs DD is 21.  We’re having a small-ish wedding and reception (<100 guests) at a nice hotel in the downtown area.  I didn’t have a pretty white dress the first time (JOP) so I’m wearing one this time!  Veil, too.

And, yeah, I still am bound by contract to the venue/caterer, photog, DJ, etc. but nothing’s really been stressful.  Guess there are advantages to being “more mature.” 🙂

Mrs.Sawyertobe:  Encore bride alert! I am wearing (so far, though I’m less than 3 weeks out now) a VERY simple 50s style short dress. Not even a wedding dress. We are having at most 15 people and getting married in a private dining room at a favorite restaurant. I figured we’ll say I Do and then turn around and eat. Perf!

Mrs.Sawyertobe:  Sounds like me and my future hubby 🙂 We’ve both been married once before and we have 6 kids between the two of us so we’re having probably 50-75 people (while I have been married before this will be my first wedding). Nothing super extravagant but yes I wil be wearing the big white dress! It’s more important to us that our kids are involved in the ceremony (they’re 14, 12, 11, 9 and 7 year old twins) and we’re inviting close friends and family only.

Both FI and I have been married before. We had smallish weddings with 50+/- guests. I wore a navy-fricking-blue dress and my ex had to have his arm twisted to wear a button-up shirt and vest.

This time FI and I are having a small but classy wedding with about 50 guest. My dress is champagne with an ivory lace overlay and he will be wearing a tux.
