I actually had two sets from my ex husband. One set I am keeping for my son some day when he grew up and ready to get married, the second set (same one that I was wearing when he left me for another woman), I sold. The rest of the jewelry will go to my daughter with time as she gets older.

I wouldn't feel comfortable giving it to a child that wasn't his. I also don't think i would be able to wear it again--knowing who it came from. I would so some research and sell it where you could get the most money. maybe check into ebay/craigs list-- and see if you can get more than through a pawn shop.

I still have my wedding set (e-ring and band) and my husband's band. My first husband passed away, so I guess I never really had any hard feelings. I keep them in my jewlery box and hope that one day our kids will ask to wear them.

I sold mine. I was able to pay off some bills and didn't have to have that horrible feeling whenever I saw it. One of the best things I did around the time of the divorce.

I am also in the "sold it" club. I'm glad I did. Every time I'd see it, the mere sight of it would turn my stomach. Put it to good use!

Hahah, I'd be the 1 that just gave it to my mom and said get rid of this!!!

I have no idea what she did with it and doesn't bother me at all. It is out of my life. :)

I had mine melted down and redesigned - just like my life.

I added two small blue sapphires on the side (for my two boys) and had a setting designed and used all of the original stones from my e-ring. Its beautiful and I refer to it as my 'freedom ring'

I'm having the teensy little diamond (tee hee) taken out of the old setting and put into a necklace. A diamond IS a diamond, after all, and that will make me HAPPY instead of grimacing every time I look at the ring. The wedding band will be sold.
