Irish2014:  I love shots like these.  Natural, not put on or posed awkwardly.  These make me want to get e-pics…I’m otherwise afraid of them coming out really corny!!

Why won’t your photographer post them??  If you tell me it’s a same sex marriage issue, then I HOPE you chose another photographer for your wedding…

Irish2014:  That is ludicrous…

Post them to your OWN page and TAG HER COMPANY in it!  I’m like you…spiteful.  It’s an Irish thing LOL!

Either way, the pics are great so at least she got that right!!  Happy planning!!

Irish2014:  I am sorry she feels this way.  She is probably facing a lot of pushback from her church and family and friends, and she has her business to consider.  Sometimes it is really hard to take a stand when your livilihood is at stake.  I live in the Bible Belt, and I am a practicing Christian (who supports legalizing gay marriage, BTW), so I can see how hard it must be for her.  I think the fact that she took your pictures and treating you with dignity and respect says a lot about her.  I remember one particular case in my area where a Christian silk screening company flat our refused to print gay pride tshirts.  It seems to me she is trying to seek some sort of middle ground here.  Your pictures turned out great.  She really did a nice job with them.

I really try to see things from all sides (guess that’s why I am a lawyer).  I think she is between a rock and a hard place, as she chooses what images she wants to represent her business.

Why did she take your business if it was against her morals/religion?? Im sure there a million other (more professional) photographers who would love to have the opportunity to shoot your engagement pics and wedding. How frustrating!

Irish2014:  Waaaait a minute, she’s your wedding photographer too and she’s throwing you this attitude?? I wouldn’t care if the time has passed to back out. I’d do it anyhow and pitch a fit. That’s discrimination in my opinion.

Irish2014:  Your photos are beautiful, and I’m sure she will take gorgeous wedding photos of you as well.  And hopefully you’ll be so busy and happy and feeling the love that you won’t even think about her opinion a bit.

I’m sorry that in the 21st century, a couple in love still has to deal with this ridiculous outdated bullshit.
