I taker mine off in the shower, and when I’m cleaning or cooking. I’ve heard of some people who take theirs off while sleeping or at the gym too.

I don’t think you need to worry about the diamond popping out of the prongs in your sleep 😉 if it’ll pop off in your sleep, it’ll pop out a lot more places first and you should get that checked! I do..um..everything with my rings on. I don’t shower with them on (down the drain fears) and I should probably take them off to do heavy cooking/cleaning, but I don’t. I don’t even think a bout it. Mine is a moissanite in a bezel setting, and I guess the top of the bezel is scratched, but it’s so thin you can’t see the scratches unless you look REALLY hard.

I should probably take it off more when I cook/clean, but washing your hands should be fine. It cleans mine actually 🙂

Sleeping, cooking with raw meats/anything doughy, cleaning with something more abrasaive then a Clorox wipe, showering, sometimes working out if I’m using free weights.

Oh and showering.

I take mine off to sleep, shower, clean, cook, wash dishes…stuff like that.  I pretty much wear it mostly when I leave the house. lol

I take it off if I am cleaning and sometimes when I’m cooking and if I’m washing my hair in the shower, also when I’m gardening.

I take mine off when I’m making pottery and when I’m performing (since my character is unmarried and wouldn’t be able to afford fancy rings).  I also take them off when I put on lotion.  Other than that, never.

I don’t clean the sink/push things down the garbage disposal with it on, I don’t shower with it on, and I don’t sleep with it on.  Oh, and I potted some basil the other day, and took it off for that.

I have a cheap plastic ring holder in the kitchen because I don’t cook or do dishes in the sink with it on. How many times on TV and movies have rings made their way into food and how many horror stories about rings going down the drain have you heard? I’ve heard tons!

I put it in its original ring box when I shower. I have long curly hair and things get tangled in it so easily.

I also put in on the cheap ring holder when I clean the litter box.

Other than that, I wear it all of the time.

Shower. Clean with anything harsh. Apply lotion, hair gel, moose.

When I went ot hot yoga I would leave it at home.

I take it off to work out, clean, and overly use my hands too much. I also have to take it off for work too since I work with kids and am always washing my hands, plus I don’t want to scratch them.

I take mine off at work (surgery) for obvious reasons. Other than that mine rarely leaves my finger. I have a bezel set moissanite so it’s very sturdy. I take it off when applying fake tan, and if I’m handling raw meat/dough (cos it grosses me out a bit), but it stays on for most cooking, cleaning, showering, sleeping and even in the garden.
