Weddingbee boards

I had my first one! This is a big deal, because I don't have a lot of dreams. At all. Ever. And when I do have them, they're usually horrific and nightmare-y. (I don't know why, but that's the way it works for me.) I've had one or two wedding dreams, but this was my first engagement dream.

So anyway. I was in this dream world which looked like an odd mix between the strand in South Carolina and home. MinMan was in this creepy old basement of a house, which had a brown floor and brown walls and cobwebs. He was starting to write something romantic on the wall of the basement with chalk as I walk down the stairs.  When he hears me walking down he drops the chalk and looks extremely upset, putting a hand to his forehead and casting his eyes down and pinching his lips.

"You could have TOLD me when you were going to come!" he says.

I mumble something and keep walking down the stairs. Something feels different, like I KNOW he was going to propose. So I apologize and say something to calm him down, and he hands me a ring.

(This is a funny part)

When I first see the ring in my dream, it's a HUGE rock, oval cut in a halo setting and 3/4 pave band. But when I realize that it's a giant diamond...I'm disappointed! I'm thinking to myself "Aw man, I really wanted an emerald! That ring looks like everyone else's! He shouldn't have surprised me like this, we should have gone ring shopping together!" But when I put the ring on my finger it seems to shrink and the stone looks like a little piece of pale jade, which has this weird setting so it wiggles around in the ring. And I'm still disappointed.

Then we go outside, and we're all walking in a great big crowd, and someone blows a building up so we have to go rescue people! (Remember what I told you about my dreams? :P) Then my alarm went off. The end.

Has anyone else had an engagement dream lately?
