I think they all look great.  And congrats on the weight loss, that’s amazing.  But HOLY SHORT on the sweater dress.  Please tell me you’re going to wear leggings under that?

SoontobeSelwood:  I love the first dress and the thrd looks great on you too. The sweaterdress looks a bit trashy, sorry to say it this way but it’s the first thing that comes to mind. Though I would probably love the sweater dress with some leggings or really thick tights and some riding boots (no heel).

I’m not feeling the sweater “dress” at all. It looks like it would be better for a bottomless party and doesn’t say high-fashion at all. The other two dresses are gorgeous though. The long gown should photograph beautifully.

Congrats on the weight loss!  You look amazing!

I LOVE both the black and olive colored dress.  Not sure about the sweater dress though – I personally think its a little too frumpy and kind of looks like you forgot pants (sorry – I mean that in the nicest way.)  Can you add a fierce belt and some leggings or tights?

I really like the LBD and the ballgown.  The “sweater dress” is a long sweater, and I think it’s too short to be considered a dress.  It would look super cute with leggings and boots…but in this pic it looks like you’re wearing your hubbys oversized sweater.

You look amazing, and congrats on the weight loss!  As you said you wanted honest opinions, I’ll give mine, but I wanna preface it with saying I’m not trying to be mean!  I hate giving criticism, but I know how important it is for honesty!!!!  I love the idea of a ballgown in Tahoe–it’s such a dichotomy, it really works with the editorial feel you’re going for; but, i think the black and tulle may be a little too goth to compliment the natural beauty of Tahoe, even if you are going for that dichotomous look.  I echo the sentiments of the rest of the bees in that the sweater dress is a little too short to come across as high fashion.. maybe with some patterened tights or something?  And the LBD (holy wow you look incredible) is a little plain i think, for everything you’ve communicated about your style choices.  You could glam it up with some crazy heels or blinged out jewelry though, and it could work!  I for some reason just envision you in something more dramatic!

SoontobeSelwood:  Congratuations on the weight loss. You have a beautiful face and now a body to match!

The ballgown is gorgeous but might need a bit of alterations so it stays up a bit higher on your chest.

I think the sweater dress would be a poor choice. It looks like a sack- like you just threw on something comfy after you rolled out of bed.

This is what I think of when I hear “sweater dress”

The LBD is cute but do you want any variety in your pics? two black dreses?

I love the LBD on you- what a sexy and classic look!  That would look amazing in the woods, maybe with a pop of color heel.

I echo what other PPs are saying…the sweater “dress” is really just a long sweater, meant to be worn with leggings.  If that’s your plan, go for it- it’s cozy and cute.  Maybe a belt too.  But I wouldn’t wear it alone.

SoontobeSelwood:  That’s not a sweater dress, that’s a sweater. Lol! Love the ballgown! You should show us a before and after, 100 lbs is a LOT!! I want to lose 20.

Nay to the sweater dress. There’s nothing high fashion about it. But I love the other two dresses.

Congrats on your weight-loss! You look fabulous!!

The ballgown and LBD are lovely and look amazing on you. The sweater dress is too slouchy/loose and is not flattering (and the drab color with the chunky knit looks a bit grungy). I’d suggest a more fitted (sheath-style) sweater dress… something like this, perhaps?

WOW, HUGE congrats on the weight loss, thats amazing and you look so beautiful! I LOVE the first dress, but I agree with others about the sweater dress. It’s too short for my taste and would look good with skinnies or leggings and boots, but I would still be hesitant to wear it for epics. I also like the black dress. Do you have another outfit option that isnt all black? I personally would want a bit more variety which will allow you to use the pics for more things!

You forgot to put on pants in the second photo.  I do like the idea of a sweater dress given the venue, but what you posted is just a sweater so I would look for something longer.  The black gown would look very nice in photos with the tulle skirt, you could add some fun accessories to step it up.
