I'm the MOH, should the bridesmaids do something special at the engagement party?? I was thinking more so at the bridal shower but one of the other bridesmaids asked if we were doing anything for the engagement party... Any ideas?

I wouldn't think you would have too! Some people don't even know who their bridal party is when they have engagement parties! But, as a bride myself, I wouldn't expect anything!!

I agree with jingle. If there is something you feel like you really want to do, go for it. But usually it is taken care of by whoever is throwing the party.

We had an engagement party and 3 of the BMs threw it and the others just attended. We had just figured out BMs and hadn't done GMs yet. So I would say not necessary.

i'm having an engagement party, my mom's throwing it and i'm pretty sure my bridesmaids aren't going to do anything but show up. they have enough to do with the shower and bachelorette party.
