    Hi Chicas!

So I found this dress at Loehmann's randomly last week and tried it on, even tho the smallest size they had was an 8.  I loved it but decided it was too much with the necessary alterations.  After looking online for a bit but without success, I ended up going back to Loehmann's today, only to find it in my size!

I bought it right away but now I'm having 2nd doubts.  Here's why:

Our wedding color scheme is blue and yellow, which this definitely doesn't fit.  BUUUUUT, the engagement party is going to be in Miami, so maybe a tropical color scheme does sort of fit?

What's your opinion, should I keep it or return it and continue looking?

Also, the dress was $70, not bad but could probably do better finding something on sale (in case this influences anyones decision...)

    Thanks!!

does the engagment dress have to match the colors?  I didn't even know my colors at my engament party!  I think you can wear whatever you want to the engagment party!

it's a cute dress. would you wear it again after the engagement party? i don't think you have to be in your wedding colors for your engagement party.

I think its super cute, I would keep it if I were you. I dont think the e-party has to match the wedding colors.

I love the dress and I don't think you have to match your colors. It's a dress that you can def. wear again so I think you'll get your moneys worth out of.

I dont think the dress needs to conform to a color scheme but I also don't think the dress looks like its worth 70 bucks.  It's cute but looks very simple and inexpensive. Honest opinion?  Return and start over.

It's true the dress doesn't have to match the color scheme, I think it's just my OCD about the overall theme of the wedding that is bothering me, that this dress is too flashy or something...hmmmm, will have to keep considering...keep the opinions coming :)

Keep it! Its too cute not to! You're dress does not need to match your wedding colors. As long as you feel great in it, thats all that matters!

I would keep it and wear it to the engagement party, especially for a Miami party and you could wear it on your honeymoon - double duty!

You're not a walking decoration, therefore you don't have to match the other decorations. :)

Very cute dress.  It's white -- bridal, right? -- so who care if it matches the colors for the party?

I think the dress is way cute!  We used a completely different color scheme to decorate our RD, so I don't think you have to match your color scheme!

The dress I wore for my rehearsal didn't match my colors.  I wore it bc I liked it :-)

You don't have to match the color scheme and it doesn't look like you're going to clash either, so I think you're fine on that front. If you like the dress, wear it, if you think you might want something else, look for something else :-)

I don't think you have to match and I agree with other bees, it still looks "bridal" ...Keep it!

You should totally keep it!!! No need to match your colors. Even my save-the-dates weren't in the same colors as our wedding. It is super super cute!!!

Keep it!! if you match EVERYTHING to your wedding colors, you are going to be sick of them before the wedding! Its fun, its bright and perfect for a miami party.
