Do they have hobbies? Maybe something that they could use for that? If they cook, I always enjoy making a basket of gourmet foods {oils, nice pasta, nice spices} and a good cookbook for a couple.
Why don't you get the a restaurant gift certificate so they can go out and enjoy a relaxing evening together?

My aunt and uncle are hosting an engagement party for my fiance and me. I would like to get them a host/hostess gift as an additional way of thanking them for hosting the party. Other than the classic bottle of wine or chocolates, does anyone have any suggestions for a gift, preferably less than $50? I'm trying to find something unique.
