My engagement party is officially being held on the 24th of August. It’s going to be held at my parents house with somewhere between about 30-50 people. Quite a few of these people won’t know each other so it would be cool to think of some fun icebreakers that are easy but also get people having a good time. One thing I’m going to do is place different jars/containers around the place so people can write in words of encouragemet/blessing, date night ideas and wedding planning tips etc. It would be cool to have some more interactive ideas suitable to adults.
Unleash your brilliant creative minds and give me some of your ideas! Fire away!

@HopefulSim: I am hosting my friends bachelorette/shower on Saturday and I have two games planned. I guess neither of them are really ice breakers in theory… but you may be interested.
1. I sent a list of trivia questions to the groom about himself and I am going to make the bride guess his answers. Some of them are basic (shoe size, middle name) and then they get odder and funnier (would you prefer a sexy french maid or pirate wench?). For every question she gets wrong she has to take a shot, or if she doesn’t drink…. for every question she gets wrong she has to put a marshmellow in her mouth.
I guess that one isn’t so much a game, but it is funny
2. On my RSVP cards I had all the girls answer questions about the bride (what they thought when they first met her, what her job would be if she wasn’t a teacher…). I am going to give everyone a pen and paper, number 1-10 and ask who said what? I will read out some of the funnier answer and the girls have to guess which girl said that. The one with the most right gets a prize
