@Miss Squared Love: I want to have my rehearsal at Peaquods or Spacca Napoli but you might want something fancier?
Maybe have her check with Lettuce Parties. They handle Cafe Ba-ba-Reeba and Scoozi if you were looking for small plates.
Otherwise what about Goose Island or Revolution Brewing?
It sounds like you want a restaurant, but if you're just looking for a venue, I would recommend the Lakeview Center in the Wilmette Park District. It's a really pretty building overlooking Lake Michigan, and you can bring in your own food/caterer. I'm having my bridal shower there, and it's costing us $325 to rent for 4 hours. Good luck!
I love D.O.C Wine Bar, but I've only been to the one in Lombard.

One of my bridesmaids offered to throw an engagement party for us! Yeah!!!! Now thequestion is where!!! She lives an two hours outside of the city. Our apartment isn't big enough here inside the city. Any recommendations on where we could have it inside the city? Quartino's is a $2k minimum. I was hopingleases not that expensive. All thoughts welcome!
