Our engagement session is tomorrow!  ๐Ÿ™‚

Do you get to change outfits?  We are going to two locations, changing once.  So I’ll wear a dress at first, then change quickly into jeans.

Wear something that you feel comfortable in, something that is “you”. You will want to recognize yourself in the photos later and it’ll probably help you relax in the beginning (it’s a bit weird to run around with a paparazzo).

We changed our outfit 3 times: nice clothing, fancy clothing, and casual. Which in my case meant skirt+sweater / silk dress / t-shirt and jeans. This gave us a variety of photos to use.

And in case you’re wondering about make-up: don’t worry about it. There is almost nothing that photoshop can’t fix. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I would take a change of clothes or two. If it’s easy enough to slip out of, the photographer shouldn’t have an issue with a quick change. We did three outfits- one formal, one casual and one fun.

@iammcdibble:  Well first off, hello fellow neighbor! ๐Ÿ™‚

Usually, the photographer gives you the option to have 2 outfit changes at one location. It all depends on the location the session is taking place. My Fi and are having an e-session done this june at woodlawn beach–I’m planning to wear a white sundress, Fiance is planning to wear khaki shorts and polo. I don’t know if we will do another outfit change, that’s up in the air.

(as the other bees stated it usually is 1 formal and 1 casual or it depends on your personality to be honest). Wear what you and your Fiance feels comfortable wearing and what expresses your personalities. My only advice is prior to the e-session, take a picture of the outfit(s) you intend wear to see if you really like it for the shoot.

We had two outfits, like PP… So I wore a skirt for one and jeans for the second… You should ask your photographer if this is an option ๐Ÿ™‚

I had two outfits plus a jacket (so looks like three outfits), and Fiance brought two outfits but last minute he decided to wear only one.

I wore the same boot cut jeans (no holes, dark blue) and black heeled boots with every outfit.

I had a plaid jacket with a belt that looked like it’s own outfit.

I wore a gray top with a black belt and chunky black necklace.

The last outfit was an argyle sweater with a different necklace.

I wore the gray top and jacket.  We met our photographer at an apple orchard/farm.  We had told her beforehand that we had other outfits so she was keeping track of the amount of pictures/timing in each outfit.  She let me know when to take the jacket off and then about halfway through she said now would be a good time to change the top into my last outfit.  So I took off the gray top off at the car (had a black tank on underneath, keepin it G-rated people) and put the sweater on.

@iammcdibble:  just wear em both… I am always understanding of my clients. 2,3,4… changes. You are only getting engaged once. Do what you want. Your photographer should feel the same way.
