We are doing our e-pics (in 3 weeks) at the pier and a local park. The red dress is me trying on, I have not bought it yet. I like the idea of dressing up a little but i am worried its too formal for the pier and park.
The second outfit choice is stuff I already own. I do like the jacket ans want to wear it somehow, whether with the dress or with a casual outfit.
What do you think? Opinions appreciated.
I have no idea what to wear lol

Choice 2: Casual Outfit:

I’d wear the red dress without the jacket. It looks just stunning on you and does great things for your figure. I sometimes feel like jackets like the one you’re wearing can make you look bigger than you are, so unless it’s stupid cold — I would wear the dress and something else for the casual outfit.

I LOVE the red dress on you, but I could see the casual outfit looking really cute, too (the lighting isn’t that great and the picture is kind of grainy). Is there any way you can have an outfit change?
In my opinion, the red dress is casual enough for an engagement shoot. It’s one of those awesome outfits that you can dress up or down depending on your hair, makeup, jewelry, etc.

@beeintraining: thanks. I do agree with you without the jacket, but I get cold easily and will worry goosebumps showing up in the pics. I was thinking wering some kind of jacket or wrap.
@fluffernutter38: thank you. i know the phone did not take a good pic because the room was also dark…I do not wear a lot of makeup so i was thinking plain and simple ie strenthening my hair (my hair is thick and wavy)

The red dress is so flattering, but if you need a jacket, perhaps a black cardigan with cute black shoes (maybe flats?) to tie it all together would work. My daughter just took e-pics yesterday, and she was allowed an outfit change, so maybe that’s an option. I like your casual outfit, but there’s just something special about that red dress. Good luck!

@thelittleone: You can’t go wrong with wavy or straight. I recently started doing loose curls in my hair (also thick and wavy naturally). But yeah, with a cute dress that you don’t want to “dress up” too much, straight would look lovely!

Since you get cold easily, what about a blazer with the red dress? I think blazers are less likely to make you look larger because they nip in at the waist and create a nice shape.

Love, love, love the red dress on you! If you want to wear a jacket, check TJ Maxx or Modcloth for a relatively inexpensive cardigan or blazer! Keep us posted on what you choose!

I’m wearing a red dress too and since it’s outside i opted for a cardi/shrug. I wanted long sleeves but had to settle for 3/4. Defintely wear the red dress though and just cover those shoulders to keep you a bit warmer 🙂

@Lauram018: i do like your red dress too and thanks for the tip. I definitely will need a cardi/wrap.

@thelittleone: i think the red dress *could* look cute with a cropped denim jacket to dress it down a little.. + black ballet flats
