Wear something comfortable like your favorite outfit. The more relaxed you feel, the more it will show in the camera. You may be walking around a lot so if you wear heels, make sure they are broken in.

I have heard some photographers say not to wear white because it doesn’t pop as much on camera.

For hair and makeup, I always think natural is the way to go. A tip is to not wear sunscreen for your e-pics because the metals in the sunscreen will reflect the flash which causes a "sheen" (Of course always wear sunscreen otherwise!)
