Mine was about an hour and a half but we were in the middle of nowhere so we didn’t have outfit changes.  I guess it depends on where you are having your pictures taken.

Our was a 2 hour shoot and we brought two different tops.  We both were wearing jeans, so no need to change those, but changing tops did make a difference.

I did for my TTD shoot.  It was cold.  And wet.  And my feet hurt.  And my hair got TOTALLY ruined after it got wet.  I was almost sucked out with the undertow.  Basically all photos after I got near the waterline SUCKED.  Cute in theory, but not so nice in practice.  I just looked like a cat come out of the rain.  Not sexy.  Plus the sand was EVERYWHERE.  And I wish I had brought a spare change of clothes for after as well as a towel.  Two towels.  And a hair towel.  And a trash bag for the wet clothes.

We did two outfits.  One formal and one casual. We just changed in the car.

We went to the beach but didn’t actually get in the water, just more along the shore.

Two outfits is good.  One hour to walk around take pics and then change to do more.  Also, if you have two or three different spots in the same are would be a good idea.

One formal and one casual seems to be the norm.  This way you get to see different parts of your personality shine through.

hi! did you have the shoot yet? 1 casual outfit and 1 formal is the way to go. i just had mine last week, it was so fun!

one of our locations was at the beach, and my FH did rolled up khaki pants & i wore a jean skirt above the knee. his pants got a little wet, but my clothes didnt get wet at all. our photographer was really good at telling us when a big wave was coming so we’d get out of the way. 🙂

good luck!

I had 3 and a half outfits (the half= a football top of FI’s favourite team). I brought two dresses, a pair of heels, jeans and black top and flip flops, and of course, the football top. FI brought two and a half outfits -black tshirt and jeans, flip flops, nicer shirt with brown trousers and brown shoes, and the football top.

We did ours at a beach too- we had to hike to get there! Thank goodness the weather was quite cool that day so we we’re sweating our butts off before we even got there
