So I have scheduled an engagement shoot for next weekend. We'll be going to the major sites in downton, where FI and I have spent a lot of time.

The questions I have are: what do you do with your bag/purse during the photos? I don't think I've ever seen anyone holding a purse in their pictures. We'll most likely take the train down so I won't have a car to store my stuff in. Should I just not bring a purse at all?

I really like the couples who take a few pictures with the "Thank You" signs to use for thank you cards. Do you just print those out yourself and bring them? And where do you put those during the rest of the photos?

I wouldn't bring a purse.  Have your FI hold the keys, money, and lipstick for touch ups.  If you want the thank you signs bring them, the photographer might be able to put them in his bag for you for the rest of the pictures.

You don't want your FI to put stuff in his pockets... at all! How do I say this.... it creates awkwardness in the pants on film, lol. No wallets, keys, and no chewing gum for either of you!

If you want to bring a bag usually you're photog will keep it next to him/her. Clients bring bags all the time, they just leave them next to me.

I actually had my best friend/MOH come along. At first I thought it would make us even more nervous so we checked with our photographer first. It was such a blessing because she was able to help me with fixing hair between shots, awkward outfit changes in a train station stall, and make-up touch-ups. She carried our backpacks and we bought her a nice dinner afterwards. Wink
