While I would want all my images.. I like the photography of Srole better. Since it is just engagement pictures, and not your full blown wedding pictures, I would go with Srole. For me at least, I don't think I'll need ALL the images that I had taken for my engagement session. Quality over Quantity
Good luck with choosing!
Srole is the obvious choice here. He is a retouch artist and it shows in the images. The poster above nailed it right on, quality over quantity. Photographers offering the entire session on CD are most likely giving you color corrected batch processed images. This isn't a bad thing, but not my preference. If you want a ton of images to choose from, perhaps the other photographer is better suited for you. Srole has more attention to detail though and adds more digital processing, retouching, and artwork. I would go with him. He may also give you the option of selecting additional images for an added cost.
Also, not all of us here are ladies! :)
Anny is showing one engagement session only -- and those could be from a workshop rather than a client, you never know. Go with experience -- I will also agree with quality over quantity.
I guess I'm the odd one out, but of the photos I looked at, I liked Anny's style more. I like clear, sharp, vivid photos with natural color.
One question to consider -- do you want the photographer who does your engagement session to be the same photographer who does your wedding?
If so, you should compare wedding packages, too.
Thanks everyone! I'm still not 100% set on either one but I think I am really leaning towards Srole Vision. He has the experience and the portfolio to back it up. And as you all said Quality over Quantity.
@User876: Sorry! I didn't even realize or consider the chance of others using this site. My apologizes. ;o)
@ Gemstone: If my e-photos turn out well I DEFINITELY would use the same photographer. Provided they give me a good deal. lol
@JenniferG: I really only looked at her engagement work and she used a ton of actions, not crisp natural color. That always worries me too.

Hi Ladies!!
Let me first start by saying that I am new to this site and have been anxious to write a post because I have seen just how wonderful and helpful all of you ladies are to those in need.
Soooo... My fiance has FINALLY agreed to subject himself to the idea of taking engagement photos and I and SUPER excited about it.
I think I have narrowed down my choices between two photographers but I'm not sure who to choose. I really want a photo-journalistic look to my pictures and the 1st one has it down packed, but the 2nd isn't too far off either.
The issue is I'm not sure on which is the better deal financially (thats all the Mister cares about.) lol. Srole Vision is offering 2 hours, 3 clothes/location changes and 15-20 hi-res images on a cd for $200. Anny Photography is offering me 1 hours with all of the images from the shoot (edited) on a cd for $250. Anny seems to be new to the business though.
So I need your help ladies. Which photographer do you like better and which one do you think is a better deal?
