We are going to pay $250 for how ever long it takes to shoot at two locations. We also get all our pictures edited and on a CD. We are getting a discount since she is a HS friend of my FSIL.

Most wedding photographers I was looking at included engagement photos with there wedding packages. Have you booked one yet?
We had a friend take ours, but we also just booked our wedding photographer and she is going to to them too since it’s included in her package. Here are some shots my friend took…

Ours were either $200 or $300…I can’t recall. It was about an hour long shoot, and we ended up with 80something photos.

We actually won our amazing engagement shoot for free at a bridal show!  However; I talked to tons of photographers before we booked and it seemed like most photographers offered them in a package or if you wanted to purchase seperatly, it was around $300.

Ours was included in the package so I don’t know the seperate cost. Our photographer was amazing and drove to meet us at Yosemite National Park at no extra charge (4 hour + drive each way).

Our photographer does not include engagement shots in his packages. So the deal was that if booked at the same time as your wedding, it’s $450 but if you decide on it later it’s $750. This is for an aproxximately 2 hour long shoot and a photo cd with edited and unedited images.

i had a friend do them- she’s now a wedding photographer, but was still in school when she did our photos. i baked her a batch of cupcakes, and she took our photos. we had three locations, and i think i got probably 150 photos from her. i edited them myself, which was the plan all along.

if we’d done an engagement session with our wedding photographer, it would have cost $300.

Our was seperate and cost $200.  It’s another $100 though if we want the CD of images so we may end up paying $300 total

Ours were included in our package…but she charges $400 if you only use her for e-pics.

Ours was 2 hours long, 2 outfits, and we received over 100 pictures:)

Ours were included in our wedding photo package, but the engagement session would have been $500 on it’s own. It included ~120 edited photos on a disc/website with rights to print. It took about 90 minutes.

Our wedding package came with a free photo shoot. We didn’t do an “engagement shoot” since we weren’t there for our engagement, so we used our “free engagement shoot” to do a day after.

ETA: 4 hours and over a thousand pictures.

Many are going to be including it in their packages.

As an a-la-carte option, $500 is pretty standard for the session + disk. I typically see out of fellow photographers anywhere from the $350-650 range.
