My photographer just emailed me with an amazing suggestion for an Engagement Photo shoot for next Saturday. I am very excited to do that. So, I have one week to lose 5 or more pounds. I recentely gained 2 pounds, so I’d like to at least lose that. Any suggestions on how to do it in one week?
I know the usual – no carbs, more vegetables, plenty of water, but maybe there are some other tricks to do it in such a short time?

ok so i take these meal replacement shakes and they are pretty good. i drink one for breakfast and then one for lunch with fruit and veggies to snack on. then a healthy dinner. but workout of course. i also take these pills with them to help me workout harder and help my appitite. its a suggestion and it works helped me lose 3 lbs in a week with only working out lightly. but then again its something you have to spend money on. the pills are alot but you could ask for something different that has the same concept but cheaper.
here are the links
check out the reviews. they help a ton!

I’ve always heard that there’s no way to lose that much weight that quickly without having a real effect on your health. BUT, you can have the appearance of dropping some pounds. Reduce your salt intake, don’t eat anything that will get you bloated. You can see some reduction in water weight if you are just really conscientious about this stuff in the next week.

I’d suggest that you don’t overdo it this week. I know you want to drop a few pounds, but please please please keep eating–just do really healthy, lean protein and lots of fruits and veggies. If you drop too much weight too fast, you will feel tired and won’t have that happy, engaged glow that you want for your pictures–which, in all honestly, is a LOT more important than a couple extra pounds.
Try to focus this week on doing things to help you feel healthy, not to drop weight. You may not see the results on the scale that are exactly what you are aspiring to, but again, if you FEEL good, it will be so much better than seeing a couple numbers lower than what you were ate the beginning of the week.

Thank you very much, Bees, for your advice!! I love food too much to starve myself, so I am not worried about being unhealthy etc 🙂
I’ve been drining a lot more water in the last few days and have been eating a lot more vegetables and a lot less fat (I love cheese, so not eating it is hard) and processed sugars. I know that losing that much weight is unrealistic, but a girl can hope 🙂
I also got myself a very cute dress that fits me well, so even if I don’t lose those pounds, I know I’ll still look good 🙂
