This is my first post. So I will like to say ‘hello’ to all the lovely ladies on this forum ! I’ll been lurking around the forums for a while now and I know you guys give out great advice and I am in need of some. My fiancé and I are looking for a photograper to do an engagement session for us at Disney World. A morning session at Magic Kingdom and Epcot followed by an evening session during the fireworks on the beach of the Polynesian Resort. He actually proposed last year when we were there during the fireworks on the balcony of our resort, we also stayed in Polynesian and had a theme park view room with an excellent view of the fireworks. We have narrowed our search down to two photographers. Any advice would be greatly appreciated !

Concept photography would have two photographer that would be doing our session ( our package would be around 4 hours). Portrayable photography would have one photographer that would be doing our session ( our package would be around 6 hours)

whattobee: I think either way you’ll have nice photos, but I would go with Concept Photography based on consistancy of style. Quality over quantity. I know it’s enticing to go with the longer packages, but honestly, 6 hours of engagement photos is A LOT. (For reference, most of my engagement sessions are in the 2 hour range….and even that is pushing it with most couples’ patience…lol)

whattobee: Hiya! I just saw this. After looking through the portfolios of both photographers, I really like both of them. However, I personally think Portrayable looks a little more like what you can take yourself (gussied up and with a better camera…but their shots seem pretty straightforward.) Concept seems like they use a lot of interesting angles, they play with the light, etc.
But either way, you’ll get great photos 🙂
Have an amazing trip. As I said in the other thread, I’m so jealous!! You’re going to have a great time and look beautiful. Don’t foget to post back!
