I am so frustrated and stressed, and let me add that I have not been a bridezilla for any aspect of wedding planning thus far..
In July I emailed our photographer and asked if we could take our photos in September, she said yes that’s great and have me a few date options. None of the dates worked do she said, well any other weekend after the 13th works (or so I thought!) so I emailed back, how about September 20th? And I didn’t hear back for two months, which I guess is understandable, I follow her Facebook page and she’s a friend on my Facebook and she is super busy with weddings so I get it! Meanwhile, I book my makeup and hair on the 20th while I wait to hear assuming it’s fine.
flash forward to now, I email my photographer again and then I notice it says any weekDAY after the 13th is fine and I’m like, oh crap. I email her she gets back to me right away and says the 19th would work. Well now I go and text my hairdresser and makeup consult and havenr heard back from them at all about if they can do it, meanwhile I haven’t emailed my photographer back.
our location is ontop of a popular mountain that you can only get to by quading so I’m not sure if it will be more busy on a Friday or Saturday but now I’m stressed! Why won’t anyone get back to me and if I have to make one side compromise I don’t know who it should be!? I’m so frustrated, why can’t this be easy!?

Why don’t you just call them? I assume that you already have at least one of their numbers if you are texting people.

Relax! It sounds to me like you have a busy photographer who probably is doing the best to accomodate your needs with her schedule.
I suggest compromising on the hairdresser and make up. Can you use someone else if they don’t get back to you soon? You still have a few weeks to go, you will be fine! 🙂

at this point, it seems like you have to do your makeup and hair according to the photographer, not the other way around.

Wilson2Bee: Why can’t this be easy!?
Welcome to the wonderful world of wedding planning! This is just the tip of the iceberg…

Wilson2Bee: take a breath. 🙂 you misread the email, your photog took a while to respond, okay. what’s done is done. all you can do now is work around the situation at hand.
CALL (no text no email) your photographer and confirm the date and time.
CALL your makeup artist and hair stylist and confirm that they’re available on the date and time your photog confirmed. if not, have a backup plan and confirm that one immediately after you know you’ll need to use it.
even if the mountain is packed, your photog should be able to photoshop any extra people out. it’s a risk you take by having photos made at a busy spot, but it will be fine.
lastly, enjoy your photos! i promise, it’s not as huge of a mess as it may seem right now, and you’ll be fine. 🙂
