I’d go with the solid maxi. The print on the shorter dress might kill a few good shots if it lays awkwardly.

You look very slim so I wouldn’t worry about the horizontal stripes thing. The first dress isn’t my favorite as it seems a teensy bit short and a little bit trendy with the chevron-type pattern. That’s only my personal opinion, though, take it with a grain of salt.

I love the coral maxi you have in mind. I think the coral will pop in photos!

Love both of them. You’re slim. It would be hard for you to look even close to fat.

Both look great so if you can change outfits do both. If not do the long maxi.

@Tbblount:  think the shorter dress is probably more flattering since you aren’t 6ft tall… I’d choose that if you have to only pic 1.

@Tbblount:  Did you see the convertible maxi posted on the boards yesterday from Groupon? They’re similar to the dress you posted but the colors and options are AMAZING!

Love the maxi, not too keen on the shorter dress. I like the style but not the stripes.

I love the coral-y maxi – we’re doing our e pics in a few weeks and I think I’m going for a similar dress, mine has straps and is from Gap. You might check there if you’re still shopping – they had a sale on a bunch of maxi dresses when I went in earlier this week.
