So, my FI and I LOVE Disneyland. we are annual passport holders and just go when we have free time and want to relax and walk around or whatever. he actually proposed to me here in front of the castle during fireworks. So it is a very special place for us.
I am considering having our e-pics taken there, but is it too cheesy? I just feel like there are soo many fun places we can get great images, but want to make sure that we don’t have any mickey heads in any of the pictures! I love the wishing well, the lake, the old school movie theatre setting, main street shops, the carousel, the boardwalk and winery at california adventure, the fountain and shops at downtown disney…the list goes on and on. Oh! and of course we would have to take apiture with the mickey and minnie bridal hats (veil and top hat with mickey ears!) hehe. Okay am i too cheesy? My FI is game for whatever I want to do… he’s so smart like that! 😉
i know I have to pay the extra ticket for my photog to get in, but I dont mind because we are actually getting our stuff done for a great price! thanks ladies!!!

I’ve seen some cute e-pics from there. If you do go, you should really go on an off day (weekday) in the morning to avoid crowds. I live 5 minutes away and there are always a load of people any given day.

I think they could be way cute – and you might just have to deal with tecrowds you know? You can photoshop peoepl out but it’s very time consuming and might even look a little odd to see DL with no people in it.
I would check with the ticket office or main office, places like Disneyland may not allow professional photographers in for shoots with out first paying a fee for the "use of their facility". It’s a lot difrferent then the average person shooting mom with Goofy, you know? This professional photographer may be displaying this photo, using it as a sample – and also selling it to you in the end in some sense. So they like to get their cut….
A lot of gardens and art places are like this too.

good thought sweeney2be…I didn’t think of that!
I say, if you like disny that much than go for it. We all go to places that are "us" and that sounds perfect for you guys!

I think it is a great idea especially if it is a special place to you and your fiance. Your photographer should be able to ensure no mickey heads in the picture. Go for it 🙂

- Wedding: July 2007 - Rosary Chapel & Monterey Marriott, Monterey, CA
I’ve seen lots of cute Disneyland engagement sessions on SoCal wedding blogs. It’s a popular spot for engagment sessions. Winter is the perfect time to visit… and if you venture over to CA Adventure you’ll really be without crowds 🙂

- Wedding: June 2008 - Winery in the Gold Country
Not too cheesy…more like TOO AWESOME!
if you have the love for disneyland (like I do) then e-pics there would be really neat. just make sure you or your FI aren’t too shy! I imagine you’ll draw quite a crowd with a professional photog following you around…everyone will wonder if youre famous!

OH I just remembered, thanks to Lemon that Cal Adventures as the COOLEST art decor/mosaic colorful wall! That would be a cool background for a few photos!!!

i wanted to do this too!! 🙂 my FI works for disney corporate, and we go ALL the time, so it seemed like a great idea… but then we ran out of time and something had to be scrapped in order to save my sanity. 🙂 plus, i’m also nervous about whether they would allow us to take pictures there… and as he works there, we didn’t want to jeopardize things. but i say, go for it! sounds like you’ve got it figured out!
