I think it would be a great idea. My F-IL’s house (our ceremony/reception spot) has a tiny pond and I would love to do some bride and groom shots floating around in our canoe.. but knowing me I’ll slip in mud or fall out of the boat… so this is a much less stressful option.

Also… your photographer can get some great shots with you right off a dock or standing near the shore if you’re worried about logistics of two boats bobbing around in deep water.

Here’s a few of ours in the canoe. I’m so in love with our photographer, they’re amazing 🙂  I think I have more on my bio if you want to see the rest. We ended up in the water having a mudfight, it was SO much fun!

We did ours on a boat! We did a very nautical theme and they turned out awesome!! I think theres something very romantic about being out in the water. It really comes out well in the pictures.
