I think those would be beautiful pictures to take! I love horses!
That would make for an awesome engagement shot setting. I can't think of having seen that before, but if it's your guys' thing, it'll look great!
Thanks! Hmm, now how to wear adorable clothes at the same time... maybe a cute jacket and scarf?
I LOVE this idea...
I used to ride when I was younger and would love to do such a photo. My SIL said about doing a TTD session when asked what she was doing with the dress. I suggested horses (since we live surrounded by farms). She said her a** was not getting on a horse! haha
That would be so cute! I love horses!
I think a cute jacket & scarf with some jeans & boots would look adorable!! :)
@sandollar - LOL! That's how FI is... he loves Lily on the ground, but is scared of riding. He is convinced he'll make a fool of himself. And putting him on a 3 1/2 year old just domesticated Mustang would not be a good idea, even if she is the sweetest horse ever!
@LF:haha yea that would be a little scary! I could see why he might be worried, but I doubt he WOULD make fool of himself! I think in my SIL's case it was more like "eww they are dirty" I could just see that thought going in her mind. She's a little OCD with keeping the house clean but let's her cats walk on the counters and kitchen table....if you can figure that one out let me know!?
@SandDollar - I'm guilty of spoiling the cats, but obsessively clean otherwise. What can I say, it's a weak spot? Obviously I'm not worried about getting dirty at the barn, though.
Thanks for the encouragement everyone! I wonder what poses would be cute?
oh I think that they would be stunning! here are a few pix that i found for inspiration

Props are amazing tools! Google search images of horses and people to get an idea of what you would like to do, but I'm sure your photographer will have some ideas. We used my FI's Camaro as a prop and it was fun. Don't over do it, though. Get lots of shots without the horsey.
That's such a cool idea! I hope you post pictures if you do it! :)

This is kind of a continuation of my other post about using FMIL's photographer - we'll have to go out to the 'burbs for this photographer, and the only thing I can think of that is "us" out there is the barn - FI helped me to adopt a Mustang mare a little while ago, and it'd be fun to have pictures with her. Has anyone seen/done this? This is Lily:
