Yikes – I’d probably be a bit worried as well.

One of the things I love about my photog (besides that she is extremely talented and SUPER nice) is that she is GREAT about communication.

 

I hope you’re able to get a hold of him soon.

Agreed. This isn’t professional at all. He needs to make sure he’s there for his clients whenever they need him. Yeah totally drop his ass and get a new photographer if he’s still doing this to you. AND get back that deposit. If he says he won’t give it back to you, tell you FI to break his camera equipment! lol hahahah

You have a lot of time before the wedding–I’d hold off on booking him for your day until you know for sure this is a guy you want to work with!  Flaky people don’t deserve the business if they’re not going to be professional!  Best of luck–hope you get it worked out.

I think you’re looking at it the right way, no matter what you’ll have a great weekend away.  But I’m sorry your photographer isn’t responding.  I would think twice about booking him for your wedding.
