Just for a little background info, it will be outdoors in the snow
I was thinking my casual but nice black and white wool jacket with black leggings and my knee length black boots? and my hair will be straightened and down?… I dont know, any thoughts!?!?!?

Ooh have fun! Since you’ll be doing it in the snow and wearing a lot of black – how about some cool pops of color like a bright scarf and gloves?

Did you check out some sample sessions from other photographers’ websites? It may give you some ideas. We did ours couple weeks ago -although we didn’t have snow or cold , got very lucky with the weather in Southern California – we wore black/white and I wore boots. Did one good girl and one bad girl outfit 🙂

Wear what speaks to your personality =) Second, as for color, I’d say the more color the better because you are doing a winter session. Avoid all-black or all-white as that won’t show up with a lot of contrast, it sounds like your outfit is majority black so I’d add in a colorful scarf or belt to help contrast that.

Stina this is what my photog told me before my Fiance and I took our engagement pictures:
I usually encourage couples to dress comfortably and be themselves – show your personality. You could do dressy/casual or more of a fashion edge – it’s really up to you. I like it when you wear colors and accessories that show your style.
It also depends on where you do your e-pics shoot. I wanted something different as all my friends had taken theirs at the beach. Fiance is an avid golfer so we were given permission to take our pictures at the course he frequents. I wanted our pictures to show our personalities. Here’s a picture from our e-shoot.
***I made sure to get an accessory piece that would stand out in closer shot pictures. I chose a cute chunky juicy couture necklace.

So the picture I tried to upload was too large.
I wore a pair of navy skinny jeans, a white top and a brown June Leather Moto Jacket with matching flat boots. I used a statement necklace to accessorize. FI wore a navy sweater, dark denim and pumas.
