What about a cute J crew cardigan and heels?
Do you think a colored peacoat would work, like the fitted ones JCrew has? I'm a Florida native so 40 degrees feels like the arctic to me. :D
I just did mine in January. I wore a peacoat, jeans, and cute boots. I had a nice new sweater on, but it was too cold to take off my coat. The pictures turned out really nice even with both of us in coats.
Got it Florida weather is a lot different ;-). A Pea coat would be great too. Just make sure your wear some fab shoes that show your personality!

We're having our pictures taken a week from today in DC but I've got no idea what to wear! We both want to be comfortable and look like ourselves, so jeans are definitely in, but I'm at a loss for the rest of the outfit. It's supposed to be in the high 40's -- I want to stay warm but look fashionable and cute too. Any suggestions?
