Our photographer emailed me today to let me know that our pictures are up for review. I eagerly pulled them up and BAM! The pictures are SO good– they’re great poses, and they’re so cute and A looks adorable. And all I see is fat arm, roll on my stomach, double chin…seriously bad. This is after pulling on my wedding dress over the weekend and, while it zips, it’s definitely snugger than when I bought it in May. The wedding is in January, and I need to get myself in gear, watch what I eat and get to the gym. Maybe this is the kick in the pants I needed?

I think you look lovely. I can TOTALLY relate to your worries though. When we got ours back I only saw my chubs. Its a crappy feeling for sure. Do what you can to feel more confident but just remember that the bride is ALWAYS stunning on the wedding day, especially in the eyes of her groom. 🙂 <<<<Soooo cliche and sappy but I think its true!

Honestly, I think that everyone has these issues, no matter what size they are. You’re gorgeous, and you look so happy in the photo!

@Merelymere: I was slightly disappointed in how I looked in my E-Photos too, but since I got them back, I’ve lose 16 lbs, so I think it was the kick in the pants I needed!
I think it’s so easy to see the things you don’t like in a photo, but I started really focusing on the things I did like. You and your FH look very in love and that’s the most important thing!

Your picture really is adorable, but I can relate to the feeling… There was 1 pic in particular that really hit home for me… I looked like I was the size of a house!
I highly recommend a paleo diet (or close to it) and a high intensity workout routine like Crossfit, P90X, or Insanity.
I did about 85% paleo and crossfit 3-4x per week and was able to take a dress that was shipped to me a size too small, and lose enough to need it to be TAKEN in before my wedding. 6 months before the wedding, I had the dress let-out to make it fitthen, every time I went in for a fitting she had to take it in again. I lost 3 dress sizes in 4 months.

Our photographer just sent us a teaser pic from our e-session last night and it is such an amazing picture with an amazing background and all I can focus on is my double chin and big legs! I’m usually pretty photogenic when I pose for pictures but when I’m not looking or talking or something my face looks huge, so I’m nervous to see the action shots… but I know how you feel.
I’m also hoping the pics get my butt in gear for the wedding diet.

Ah yes, the photo reality check. I just had one. The sight of my double chin made me join a gym and get serious.
Fact is, we’re all beautiful anyways, and your photo is very beautiful.

How cute! We (myself included) are sometimes too hard on ourselves. I went straight to the photo and thought how cute it was, then read your description. Guess what? I didn’t think you looked big at all…I just thought you two looked so happy!
