just going through phase 1 of our pro shots from the wedding....then I'll create a bio and include a few e-shots as well
I think we're going to run around Little 5 and Va Highlands. I've seen some really awesome stuff shot around there, and also it's where we live/hang out/etc. :p
My FH and I went over to the Decatur square and walked around. They've got some very awesome spots over there. It was special to us because it was where we went for our first date.
I love the area near the chestatee in the No. GA mountains and we know of a gorgeous natural mountain brook that T goes 4 wheeling thru that would be a heavenly spot for a photo shoot. He's also partial to the area near VA Highlands and Emory (he's an alumni).
Actually the most perfect spot ISN'T in atlanta. It's in No. Mississippi at his parent's home (an antebellum) in their family 8 generations! I predict we'll do some there for sure!
L5P is fun. I've done a shoot there.
And I love Emory. I've done weddings, bridals & portraits, but not specifically engagement portraits.
We took our engagement photos at Roswell Mill in Roswell GA (obviously!) It was awesome!
One of the best shoots I did was Piedmont Park...I love the idea of Stone Mountain.
Cheers,
Julie
I thought about doing mine in centennial park but I dont want to cause a huge scene lol.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
I always get questions about locations for portraits, so I thought it would be neat to start a post with Atlanta area locations. I'm planning on offering engagment specials for the most popular locations, starting with Stone Mountain later this month.
I love Stone Mountain. I am biased because I live here, but there is so much diversity and so many different things to do. I'm definitely a city girl, but I love having this kind of natural beauty within a few minutes.
So, post your favorite spots. I have plenty, but I'll follow up later with more.
