I think if you got a very thin diamond band it would look great! The setting looks high enough so that you could fit a band in without any major gaps :) Very pretty! I'm obsessed with pretty crowns...

I actually started a thread about this a few days ago. My ring is not as big as yours but I feel like it can stand on its own and I haven't found a band that compliments it well. Still thinking...

ahahha yes! i get that a lot!! i had this one girl who i worked with ask me to stick it in the fridge to see if it fogged? lol i just tell pple o its just costume jewelry since people are rude about it sometimes. Even when i went to go try on bridal gowns the girl asked me all kinds of questions like what he does for a living, how much did he spend etc lol

I was thinking about getting a band but the bottom of the crown comes out so it might have to be a customized one. i get so nervous though when i take it in to get it cleaned! lol

honestly, this ring is big enough that you don't need any other band to go with it. I doubt that you can find anything that match either since it looks like its covered with diamonds even on the sides that would be flush with another band. But if you really want one, I would agree that a thin band of pave diamond would be the best alternative. Btw, WHAT A BLINGER!!!!

I wear my engagement ring as my wedding ring with no band. My ring isn't as big as yours, but my fingers are so tiny I really didn't want to add any more to it as I already felt that my ring looked huge on my tiny finger! Plus, my ring has a kind of odd setting so I would've had to get a band custom made for my ring.

@Bella13 my ring is huge especially since i too have small fingers. when he first bought it it was a size 7 and had to get it resized to a 4.5 (yes i have very small fingers) so i was considering wearing it as both but during the ceremony i think ill feel naked without it. what did u do b4 the ceremony?

We have the same ring size! I just took my E ring off and gave it to the best man to use as the wedding ring. It felt a little funny not wearing it b/c I wear it ALL the time, but it was only for a few mins :)

haha, yeah! It's a little weird at first, but it's exciting at the same time :) It makes it feel real. Sometimes my husband will still call me his girlfriend on accident! We were bf and gf way longer than we've been married, so it makes sense, but it's really funny!

another question for u ladies. Is your engagement ring white gold? if so how often do you get it re-dipped or are u suppose to get it re-dipped? My engagement ring is white gold and i noticed that the bottom is starting to turn a little yellow.

My e-ring is platinum so I don't have to worry about the re-dipping, but I would think that if you are noticing that your ring is looking a little yellowish, then maybe you should have your jeweler check it out.

And to answer your original question, it's hard to tell from the photos you posted, but I think your ring would still look great next to a think eternity band.  One great thing about getting one would be that if you don't want to wear your e-ring all the time then you would still have a ring you could wear.  Maybe something like this:

I would actually like to see you pair a thin, plain (non-diamond) band with your ring. I am usually all about the bling, but since yours is pretty blingy on its own, I think it might look nice with a very thin metal band. Just my two cents.
