I am looking at rings to pick one out for my future fiance to get for me. I was wondering if anyone out there has this ring:
I absolutely love the leaf engravings but I just realized it has a quartet of princess cut diamonds instead of one full diamond. Has anyone seen anything similar for this reasonable? I really love the uniquness of the leaf engravings. It’s very “hippie” me. We are on a tight budget and I have chubby fingers!! Any suggestions?

personally I do not care for it. Not my style.

I like the halo, but I’m really not a fan of quads personally.

@justnicolyn: have you thought about getting the setting you love and placing a non-diamond in the center? Ex: moissanite, asha, white sapphire, white topaz? I think you would love the look of that! Jared doesn’t sell the setting with the center stone anyway, it is separate!

It’s a pretty ring. But Jared’s has a markup in their stuff. Have you tried local jewelers? Tell them yor budget and what you’re looking for.

@justnicolyn: http://www.brilliantearth.com has some rings with leaf engravings. You choose the diamond separately from the setting, so you can easily make the ring cheaper. You can also request them for a ring sizer that they mail to you if you are worried about it fitting! 🙂 Good luck, I love the leaf engravings too!!

@justnicolyn: This is funny, I do not like quads at all, but I didn’t even notice that is what this was. I like it a lot 🙂 I love the halo.
If it is very YOU, then go for it and suggest it to Fiance. I’d hate to be stuck with a ring that didn’t suit me at all, even if everybody else loved it.

A friend of mine just recently got engaged, and the ring her FH got her is a 4 quad. It shines beautifully, and if you aren’t paying attention, you can’t tell it’s 4 diamonds instead of one. I think the ring you posted is beautiful. If it’s what you like, I say go for it! And I don’t know how Jared is priced, but to me that seems like a very good price. Mine was almost 3 times that much, and almost the same size. I WISH I could have paid that instead of what we paid lol.

Here are some on etsy that are the same idea:
they already have stones in them so they’re going to be a bit pricey but you could contact the seller and see if they will do just the setting for you and you can buy a stone seperate.
I’m not sure how tight your budget it is but if you’re trying to find one center stone for a similar price of a quartet you’re going to need to go with a moissy/ white sapphire/ gemstone. Unless you want a smaller diamond.

The halo style is pretty! Did you try Kay Jewlers?

I think if you’re on a tight budget that a quad ring is the way to go! From more than 2 feet away, no one is going to be able to tell! My co-worker’s ring is like 10 small stones, but I always thought it was one big one until I saw a close-up wedding photo!

It’s VERY pretty for a quad, but it’s never been my favorite style for e-rings. But if you like it then that’s all that matters!!!

You could always try having a jeweler make you a custom version. I second other posters that you should consider a moissanite, Wink CZ or some other gemstone instead of diamond for the center.
