Is it true that you are supposed to transfer your engagement ring from your LEFT hand to your RIGHT hand before the ceremony? And then I guess put the two rings back together on your LEFT hand afterwards?
I was planning to do that but my engagement ring is too small for my right ring finger… didn’t think my fingers were different sizes on the two hands, but apparently they are!

I’ve heard of people wearing the engagement ring on the right hand during the ceremony and putting the e ring back on the left hand after and i’ve heard of people wearing their e ring on their left hand and putting the wedding band on the outside during the ceremony and then switching the positions after the ceremony.
I think it is up to you, what you are most comfortable with.

No wonder I see some people’s pre-ceremony pix where they have their e-rings on their right hands! I always wondered and thought maybe the photog flipped the pix! Heehee!!
I think I’ll wear the e-ring on my right hand during the ceremony!

I’ve been thinking about it and…if you’re having a religious wedding why not have all 3 rings blessed? the band goes first the e-ring second…that’s what’ll do anyways…
if it’s not religious I would still just ask the hubby to put both…band first..e-ring after…right away…unless you want pics with your wedding band only.

I will wear it on my right hand down the aisle and revert it back after the wedding ring goes on it post-ceremony.

We had the best man hold both of my rings and when we exchanged rings, they were slipped on together.
